East Metro Opportunities Industrialization Center (EMOIC) is a 34-year old post-secondary educational institution whose mission is to “provide tailored vocational learning and placement services for underserved communities."

East Metro OIC subscribes to a “whole person” methodology of teaching, meaning that academic counseling and instruction focus on tailoring the pace and content of coursework to each individual’s learning style. This approach includes individualized workplace and life-based academic, vocational, and personal development services. Training and employment experiences involve hands-on activities, training related internships, and mentoring opportunities.

East Metro OIC uses a unique learning system.  Students learn "in a class of their own," with teachers assisting them on a one-to-one basis. All classes use an easy-to-follow instruction method that partners with specially-designed course materials, incorporating industry-standard software and up-to-date computer systems.

If you are entering the workforce for the first time, unemployed, returning to the workforce after being away for several years, opting for a job change, a junior or senior in high school, or just wanting to take a single course...

East Metro OIC will help you meet your career needs and objectives.

All of our courses are presented in a professional, work-like atmosphere. You will feel comfortable and secure, learning on current computer hardware and software systems. Our number one priority is providing you with business programs that can get you started towards a successful career.

East Metro OIC is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
